At Swahili Coast, our goal is to provide every guest with a memorable culinary experience. Whether you’re reserving a table, ordering online, or booking an event, we value your trust and want to ensure our policies are clear, fair, and flexible.

Reservation Policy

We recommend booking in advance to secure your desired time and seating, especially on weekends or holidays. For general table reservations:

• Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or modifications.
• No-shows or cancellations made within 2 hours of the reservation may be charged a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the expected bill amount for large parties (6+).
• We hold reservations for up to 15 minutes beyond the scheduled time before releasing the table.

Private Dining & Group Bookings

For private dining areas or groups of 8 or more, a deposit is required to secure your booking. Our policy is as follows:

• 72 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes in guest count.
• Cancellations before the 72-hour mark receive a full refund of the deposit.
• PDGB3
• No refund is offered for same-day cancellations or no-shows.

Online Orders (Pickup/Delivery)

We understand things can change, and we aim to accommodate cancellations or changes to online orders wherever possible:

• Orders can be canceled within 10 minutes of being placed by calling our restaurant directly.

Catering Orders

For catering, our kitchen requires advance planning and preparation. Our cancellation terms are:

• A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
• Full refund if canceled more than 7 days before the event.
• 25% refund if canceled between 3–7 days prior.
• No refund if canceled within 72 hours of the event.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are granted at the discretion of management based on service issues, food quality concerns, or technical issues with orders. Any request for a refund must be submitted within 24 hours of the transaction and include a receipt or reference number.
